Woo Hoo! Great News. Selena Gomez and her band the Scene’s new album Kiss & Tell drops into stores on September 29. I cannot wait! I am sure that many of you feel the same way.

According to www.daemonstv.com, the Disney Channel will play their video “Falling Down,” after the premiere of “Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie” on Friday August 28.

Why Did Selena Gomez Name Her Band the Scene

According to Jocelyn Vena, writer for www.mtv.com, Selena Gomez cannot wait for her album to come out.

“I can’t wait for my record!!!” the “Selena tweeted. “Just [so you] know, my band name is Selena Gomez and the Scene. The title of my record is called Kiss & Tell.”

So why did she name her band the Scene?

“My band is amazing. I love them,” she tweeted. “I named my band the Scene because a lot of people are making fun of me calling me a ‘wannabe scene,’ so I thought I would poke fun [at] that. Can’t beat ‘em join ‘em! Haha.”

On her MySpace, she thanked her fans.

“The fact that I can say I have a record is a dream come true to me but not possible if it weren’t for you guys,” she wrote. “The whole process is so much fun and very therapeutic; most of my friends are amazing musically so to step into that for a while has been an incredible experience for me.”

Selena says that her album is “fun, energetic, empowering.”

“I’m still new and still figuring out where I want to be musically,” Gomez wrote. “But I think this is a good start … hopefully.”

I cannot wait to see what she does in the future.

Some are again asking if she could be the next Miley Cyrus. Well to me she will be the one and only Selena Gomez.
