Selena Gomez tells Twist Magazine in the October / November 2008 about her “Clique” problem during the Disney Channel Games.

“I was on the yellow team, and Demi and Alyson were on the blue team. I kept running over to the blue team’s tent to tell Demi secrets and stuff. I just wasn’t used to sharing her!”

“Demi and I tend to go off in our circle and that’s bad. We don’t mean to leave people out. We just have so many inside jokes!”

“I’m getting to know Alyson a lot more now. She may even be a new BFF.”

Alyson said, “When I hung out with Selena at the DC Games, I realized were like the same person! I mean, how many people do you know that are obsessed with pickles?! Me, Selena and Demi!”

The more friends the better. So let people in you clique if you have one.

Selena’s Christmas

1. What will Selena be doing this Christmas?

“My plans for the holidays include going back to my hometown in Dallas, Texas, and spending time with relatives.”

2. What are her family traditions?

“I split my holidays up because my parents are separated so every tradition would have to be Christmas day with my mom and her family and then Christmas Eve with my dad and his family and there comes a point where we all come together and wish each other a Merry Christmas.”

3. What is Selena’s favorite ornament?

“My favorite decoration would have to be the ornament I made for my mom when I was 5. I made it out of popsicle sticks and a picture of my house.”

4. What has been your favorite Christmas gift?

“It’s [ jewelry box ]one of a kind and it’s kind of antique-ish looking and has these really neat faded pink colors and these purple colors. It’s beautiful and I love it.”
