According to http://justjaredjr.buzznet.com, Selena Gomez took a break form filming Wizards of Waverly Place movie in Puerto Rico. She decide to update her fans about what is going on through her Myspace page. This is what she wrote.

“Hey guys, I am sitting in our green room right now with my little brother Jake [T. Austin] in Puerto Rico shooting Wizards. I wanted to tell you guys that we are so excited to be here shooting our first movie together. I have to say, I can’t wait for you guys to see it! The cast and I are getting wonderful opportunities to meet our fans here in PR and they are so incredible! Not only are we grateful for ALL of you but being able to travel as a cast meeting our fans in other places is amazing!

I have not stop listening to Hellogoodbye and Sarah McLachlan while I’ve been here and I love going to all the cool shops out here. I picked up a couple of gifts for Demi [Lovato], my cousin Brandon and my friend Jonathan. The other weekend we went to the rainforest for 5 hours and had sooo much fun AND realized how out of shape I was! I’ll be putting up pics soon and a new video I’ve been working on that I’m really excited for you to see. I want to show you guys PR, if you don’t already live here.

I also have been editing videos like crazy. I think I should stop because that’s all I do now! Just wanted to check in and see how all of you were! Hope you’re doing well! I love you guys so much! Sel.”

Sounds like Selena is having a great time.

Singing With Demi

Selena Gomez’s first album is going to be awesome. Selena told the March 2009 issue of M magazine that she even got to sing a song with her best friend Demi Lovato.

“It sounds awesome. We’re hoping to perform it on stage.”

Hopefully we’ll get to hear the song soon.

Did Selena Gomez Cry Over a Test

I know that I have cried over a test, but what about Selena? Selena told the March 2009 issue of M magazine that she has cried over a test.

“It was a math test. I cried because I got a really bad grade. Luckily, mom was there to support me and make me feel better. She was a little upset I’d done poorly, but said, “It’s OK, you can try again next time”‘

Math was always one of the subjects that I did not like. I just wasn’t good at it.

So what is one thing that bothers Selena?

“I don’t like it when adults talk down to me as if I’m dumb, just because I’m a teen. It’s so irritating.”

Selena gives her fans advice on test.

“You have to learn to be confident. And if you need help with something that’s hard for you, don’t be afraid to ask for help!”

Don’t feel bad if you need help. There are many people that have to ask for help with something – - even adults.

Selena Has Been Through A Lot

Selena sat down with the March 2009 Issue of M magazine about talked about her parents divorce , her stepfather and how hard it was to move to California leaving her biological dad behind.

“Leaving my dad and moving away from the rest of my family was scary. It was like, I had good and freaked-out feelings at the same time. It was probably the most scared I’ve ever been in my whole life. But I knew I had to come to California and that it would be OK because I was doing what I always wanted to do. And the people I love, like my dad and friends would come out and visit me – - or I would go back and visit them!”

Here is some advice Selena has given to her fans.

“Well as you know, I have a stepdad. And honestly, I love him with all my heart. I see how happy my mom is with him, which is awesome. So I guess what I would tell other teens is not to fight it. Get to know your new stepparent and enjoy them. Just know that your parents happiness means a lot. I now have more than one family – - and it can be great!”

There are many children/pre-teens/teens out there who parents have divorced or are divorcing now. If Selena made it through it, so will you. Selena is a great role model, so take her advice. Try to give the new step-parent a chance.

Selena Gomez = Beatrice/Beezus Quimby

According to http://justjaredjr.buzznet.com and Selena Gomez’s Myspace blog, she officially announcing that she was going to be in the up and coming movie of Ramona.

“I wanted to share with you guys that as soon as I get done here in Puerto Rico, I will be heading off the my second favorite place in the world — Vancouver, Canada! I spent 3 months there last year [shooting Another Cinderella Story] and now I will be spending another couple of months there shooting Ramona! I can’t wait to go back! So, if you live in Canada, I can’t wait to see you guys!! Hope you’re all doing well! God Bless, Sel.”
