According to www.metronews.ca, Selena tells Extra, about Miley, “There’s nothing there to talk about.” Referring to the Miley Cyrus “making fun” of Selena and Demi.

Regarding all the media attention on this subject, Selena stated “this is just the media wanting something to talk about and wanting us to fight. Everywhere you go, you’re hearing things that are untrue. You just got to learn that if I don’t say it, physically out of my mouth on camera, it’s not true.”

Selena even bought Miley’s new CD, and she liked it.

Selena is grateful for the support of her fans.

“It’s overwhelming … to know there are hundreds of kids out there that look up to me,” Gomez says. “I know that’s a big responsibility. I am also very confident to say that it is wonderful and I’ll do my best that I can do to be the best role model I can be.”

She is already a great role model, and I believe she will continue to be one.
