We have an update on Ramona and Beezus. This film is to star Selena Gomez and Joey King. This film has been in post-production for quite a while and we now know it is scheduled for release July 23rd. Here is a complete description and synopsis.

Plot Summary: Based on the “Ramona” series of novels written by Beverly Cleary. As everyone knows, Ramona Quimby lives on Klickitat Street. The stories of her adventures begin in Beezus and Ramona, where Beezus, who is just turning ten, finds four-year-old Ramona an exasperating little sister!
