Jonathan Talks About Selena

J-14 (April 2009 issue) sat down and talk to “Forever the Sickest Kids’ lead singer Jonathan Cook. This interview is from the magazine.

J-14: How did Selena wind up joining you guys in the studio?
Jonathan: Selena tried to fly in for our hometown show, but her plane got delayed. So we invited her to come to our studio the next day.

J-14: What did you guys do?
Jonathan: She stayed for six hours and fit right in – - we cracked each other up. We bought 50 Jacks in the Box tacos and I think Selena ate 26 of them! Kidding!

J-14: Sel said she’ll record her album with a band. Are you the band?
Jonathan: We’ll get to that when the time comes. We’ve got her back.

J-14: Have you kept in touch since?
Jonathan: We talk on a daily basis, numerous times a day. We just have so much to talk about. It’s been a relationship where you can share stories with someone who actually gets it.
