According to Twist Magazine (April 2009 issue), Selena had a Mad Hatter theme for her Sweet 16 party.
“The Party was amazing. There were black roses everywhere and a huge Mad Hatter cake. And there was a pickled and popcorn station where you could squirt different pickle juices on popcorn- – My favorite! There was a cotton candy machine, a cupcake station, and a DJ that played awesome music all night!”
Sounds like a great party, but pickle juice on popcorn. I like pickles and popcorn, but not together. Then again, I have never tried it.
