Selena Gomez sat down with Twist magazine (January 2009 issue) and talked about when she went caroling with her crush.

“When I was about thirteen or fourteen years old, I went Christmas caroling with my crush! We had a huge trailer that had hay over it and we were driven all over the entire neighborhood. My crush and I shared a blanket and drank hot chocolate and sang carols. It was really cute- – it was kind of like a movie moment!”

I know that people still go caroling, the older kids at our church did (at least they were suppose to), but I have never heard it. I do not even remember doing it when I was a child.

Selena Gomez told Twist (the January 2009 issue), about how great it is to see Demi all the time.

“I see Demi all the time. And I get to talk to her every day. She comes to my tapings and I got to her’s, so it nice to have her here in LA. I’m having fun!”

Now that is a great friendship. It is wonderful to have a friendship that they have.

There are many good things about being a celebrity, but one of the downsides for Selena is not seeing her parents.

“It’s sad to live away from your parents,but I love what I’m doing and I don’t know what I’d do without it.”

Many celebrities would have to agree about not knowing what they would do if they gave it up.

So who are some of Selena Gomez’s role models?

“I love Lizzie McGuire, and that I could do a follow-up to her movie was so cool.” Rachel McAdams is another one of her role models, “She’s down to earth, and not a lot in the media.”

As Selena’s fame has grown, she has learned that the paparazzies can be very important to her career.

“There are both positive and negative sides with having paparazzies after you,”Gomez says.”It keeps me in the limelight. I have to be nice to them, if I want them to be nice to me. It’s something I have to get used to.”

Sounds like she is going to have a great and long career. Always be nice to the paparazzies, if possible.

“Wizards of Waverly Place” Cast Will Be Hosting A New Years Eve PartyAccording to http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com, on December 31 the “Wizards of Waverly Place” cast will be hosting a New Years Eve Party on Disney channel.

The “party” will be titled “Totally New Year.” The cast of “Wizards”, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato will be counting down viewers’ favorites in episodes, music videos and other categories, such as “Totally Best Guest.” The show will start a 6pm — Please. Check your local times.

Then at mid-night, there will be a new episode of “Wizards of Waverly Place.”

Now if I could only stay up to watch it.
