Selena has just been cast to play Beezus in the film adaptation of “Beezus and Ramona,” Gomez will be joined by up-and-coming adorable child actress Joey King, who is playing the main character Ramona, reports Reuters.

If the movie is a great as Beverly Cleary’s popular “Ramona” book series, then it will be great. I will be looking forward to the movie.

Selena Would One of These Days Do More “Challenging” Roles

According to Jocelyn Vena, writer for www.mtv.com, Selena Gomez would love more “challenging” roles someday.

“I love the Disney Channel, and I always want to keep that relationship because they gave me my start,” she told Us Weekly. “But I’d love to someday make a transition and do roles that are really challenging for me. I’d like to do comedy, romance, anything.”

But for right now Selena is happy with where she is.

Selena Wants People to Drive More Safer

According to www.teenhollywood.com, Selena Gomez is asking people to drive more safely.

“Don’t do a thousand things in your car! In the car, just focus on what you need to be doing.”

Even though Selena does not have her licenses yet, she plans on doing what she ask other people to do.

“I’m going to try to put my phone on silent. You can tell yourself, ‘I’m not going to get it,’ but once you hear it you get tempted and distracted. So for me… I’ll put it on silent, put it in my purse and just drive. I’ve almost been in wrecks because of people (using phones while driving). I’ll sit there and look at someone and go, ‘Gosh! She completely almost ran into us,’ then look at her and see she’s on the phone. That’s the reason!”

She is right. I have even heard of people texting while driving. So be safe.
