According to J-14 January 2009 issue, Selena got the acting bug from her mom.

“My mom did theater, and I loved memorizing her lines with her and watching her rehearse. I told her that I wanted to do what she did but on television.”

I cannot believe it, but Selena still gets grief from wearing her purity ring.

Selena got the ring as a “promise to myself, to my family and to God.”

She has the ring for the right purpose.

“People say, ‘Oh, she got a purity ring, she got this – - she’s totally just trying to be a good girl. She is trying too hard.’ It’s so weird – I’m not trying to be anybody but myself.”

Glasses

Not only has Demi had to wear class, but so does Selena. According to Twist magazine January 2009 issue Selena had to get glasses later in life.

“I got glasses just before I started filming the first season of “Wizards.”  At first I was insecure, especially on set because I was just getting used to everybody. So, I was very embarrassed. But now I know it’s something I have to wear, so why should I br embarrassed about it? I just let it go!”
