Selena attended Justin Bieber’s birthday party earlier this week, and I’ve added3 LQ IMAGES to the gallery of her singing karaoke. She looks gorgeous!

Disney Channel star Selena Gomez is set to play one of the three lead roles in Tom Bezucha’s young femme comedy “Monte Carlo,” while a possible deal is in the works for “Gossip Girl’s” Leighton Meester.

Nicole Kidman is producing with Denise Di Novi and Alison Greenspan. Kidman may also play a supporting role.

Bezucha, who directed “The Family Stone” for Fox 2000, is set to begin lensing in May. “Monte Carlo” will be shot in Monaco, Budapest and Paris.

Bezucha co-wrote the original script with Maria Maggenti, adapting a novel about a group of American women who ditch a disappointing no-frills holiday in Paris and pose as wealthy women vacationing in Monaco.

The book, “Headhunters,” was penned by Jules Bass, known for his Rankin/Bass animated specials.

Originally, Kidman was attached to star, but the updated script — co-written by Bezucha and April Blair — has put a younger spin on the story, with two of the characters in college and one just out of high school. Gomez would play the youngest of the three.

Every studio is seeking out younger femme film properties after the boffo success of a string of female-driven films, led by the “Twilight” franchise.

“Monte Carlo” furthers the budding relationship between Fox 2000 and Gomez, who stars in the studio’s upcoming “Ramona and Beezus,” based on the bestselling kids book series by Beverly Cleary.

Fox 2000 is producing with Walden Media. Greenspan and Di Novi are producers.

Gomez has primarily worked in television and is the star of Disney’s hit series “Wizards of Waverly Place.”

Meester has several feature projects in the works, including “The Roommate” and “Love Don’t Let Me Down,” also starring Gwyneth Paltrow. Both films will be released in the U.S. by Screen Gems.

Gomez is repped by CAA; Meester, by WME and Leverage.

Top Teen: Antes que nada, quiero agradecerte por esta entrevista en nombre de todas las lectoras de TT. Sabias que tienes miles de fans en Mexico y America Latina.

Selena: Al contrario, gracias a ustedes! Me da mucho gusto poder compartir un poco mas de mi historia con un medio latino. Sabes, todavia parece que sigo durmiendo y viviendo un sueno. Es increible la cantidad de seguidores que me han demostrado su afecto en los paises latinos! Realmente me hacen sentir muy contenta.

TT: Que hay de la Selena latina?
S: I’m very proud of my heritage. My family has roots in Monterrey, Mexico. This country has a culture truly fascinating in so little time, padri not explain how wonderful I think. Every time I get to be in Mexico I feel at home and take to power up with energy and went on with my dreams.

TT: There are few Latino artists as Christina Aguilera or you, who managed to succeed. At some point, you would like to combine your music with a style much more Latino?
S: Sure, why not? I like music dance move. But to be honest, I think mine is hip-hop with a touch of funky.

TT: Speaking of music, we know you write songs. From that age you do?
S: I think since it has 11 or 12 years. I am inspired by what happens in my life. It is a different process and fun because I get all the emotions inside me. I really like!

TT: You think of friendship?
S: Without a doubt, is one of the best things in life. I value friendship, power and trust someone to help you too. One of my best friends are Demi Lovato: We’ve been great friends since I was seven and great moments we have shared personal and professional level. Furthermore, we identify both very much for being in the same dream but, most of all, together we learned the true meaning of companionship and loyalty.

TT: As Selena in love?
S: I believe in the real armor. Could tell you I’m very shy, but of course I like to fall in love with a boy who loved me madly and I love Demosthenes. I like any Disney princess Econtra similar to the prince of his movie.

TT: Speaking of Disney, what’s your favorite character?
S: I love Tinker Bell! It has a lot of magic, a strong independent personality and a relentless desire to fulfill their dream. I think we have much in common.

TT: What do you enjoy doing most when away from the stage?
S: Definitely being with my friends. I’m not much for going to parties, I prefer the quiet places. I also like playing basketball, is very fun.

TT: If we were on Waverly Place and you had magical powers; What would you change about you?
S: Do not change anything, I really really like my life. Maybe I’d like seems a bit more to Alex, my character. You know, be more outgoing and fun, always doing crazy things.

TT: That means they are very different to your character?
S: I would say not much different, I also identify with it. We are girls who do the world are discovering, through changes to find these on our way, like any girl my age! But I’m much more introverted than her.

Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus (MNT) kills one baby every four minutes. MNT can abruptly turn the joy of new life into wrenching tragedy. Its effects are excruciating — tiny newborns suffer repeated, painful convulsions and become hypersensitive to light, sound and touch. Even a mother’s soothing voice and comforting caress are unbearable for the infant. Few babies survive. Tetanus may claim the mother’s life as well.
In impoverished countries, where women have little access to health care, many are forced to give birth in an unsanitary conditions. Tetanus spores are found everywhere — in the air, soil and contaminated objects. Bacteria can enter the mother’s body through open wounds and pass through a newly cut umbilical cord. Once the baby is infected, a lethal toxin attacks his or her nervous system.
Tetanus is highly preventable. Three doses of a low cost vaccine can protect mothers and babies.

If chosen, this project would raise 110 million dollars to help eliminate this deadly disease and save 129 million mothers and their future babies.
